All that was left of the Martin's 100 year old house were the walls that fell inward on the house after Hurricane Katrina hit. These are some of the bricks that were left before we removed them.
I like this series. It must have been an amazing experience to be in Ocean Springs, MS and talk with all these people and hear there stories. This picture has amazing highlights and negative space. I like the way you take advantage of shadows and depth of field. I bet you used an f8 or higher setting for this.

it was an amazing experience in Ocean Springs. hearing people story was amazing. it was different to see everything in person and see the power of the storm first hand. i would recommend that everyone get down there and help some people if possible.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
